The waiting is the hardest. And it doesn't help that we've been so stressed out and I now have a giant fever blister on my lip to prove it! Sleep is kind of restless and the days are dragging. I am not sure if I am dreading the days until my next sonogram or if I am just dreading the possibility that all of this hype might all end in heartache once again. Craig and I were talking the other day that its been 7 months since we've been able to do anything pro-active. Our entire fall has just been appointment after appointment of diagnostic testing, lab work, paperwork, and delays.
I've been pretty down in the dumps lately, avoiding human interaction on a daily basis. In fact, I didn't leave the house for about 5 days, but I had the excuse of an ice and snow storm. Thanks to the sunshine, I have started to venture outside, even hang out with some friends, and with that I am also making an effort to once again muster up hope.
SEVEN days until our next sonogram....prayers for good news! PLEASE! I don't think I can take another disappointing appointment.
