We had an appointment with our midwife yesterday. It was super short and sweet. Got to hear baby's heartbeat again. As soon as she put the doppler on my belly we heard Heart beat. BIG KICKS. and then Nothing. Our midwife pointed out that our baby likes to hide alot and would most likely be one of those kids hiding from their parents amongst clothing racks in stores. He/she has avoided the doppler at every single appointment so far! Once heartbeat rate was located again it was in the 160s. I'm thinking girl, if those old wives tales are true about the heartbeat rate.
We scheduled our Anatomy Scan (No, we're still not finding out gender) for February 1st, and I could not be more ready to "see" our baby again. And we'll also meet with an OB on that day. The OB will serve as our backup, in case of emergency or on the off chance our midwife cannot deliver on the day I go into labor.
Yay! :) So happy the appointment went well, cant wait for you to see baby again at the anatomy scan - it is so amazing seeing the baby in so much detail! :)
