I'm just not sure. Everyone says that when they first start feeling their baby, it felt like flutters or bubbles in their stomach. I haven't had anything like that yet. However, for the past 2-3 days, I've been experiencing what feels like pin pricks below my belly button. Its not like a one at a time prick, but more like something is in there with a needle tapping it against my stomach. Its not really painful, but its not a joyful flutter. In fact, it pinches a tiny bit. I thought it might be just some stretching, but its so distinct, I am starting to think it might be baby.
Our baby has kind of changed names for the third time: From Pumpkin, to Teddy, to Suki. Craig started calling it that, because A) he thinks its a girl and B) our baby tends to like to kick the doppler and hide, making it hard to find him/her again. Craig has somehow put that together and started picturing our baby as a tiny, female ninja! Thus, he's named her Suki. Not sure how we'll explain that to our bookworm son, one day, if Craig is wrong. But if he's right, then I will be even more convinced that these "pin pricks" were in fact baby "Suki" practicing her karate in there.

It's so hard to tell! For a few days I thought I was feeling something, but nothing the last couple days which makes me wonder if the other "movements" were baby.
