My mom has always said that God always answers our prayers, but He always answers "just in time". To me, it usually seems like He answers very Last Minute, but maybe that's because He knows the right time, and I just keep trying to convince Him that we need an answer EARLY. Yes, sometimes God answers with a "no," and I don't think I ever make sense of alot of those "no's" this side of Heaven. But the bottom line is that He always answers.
As we've put on this blog, our lives have been turned a little upside down lately. From job layoffs, to ER visits, to once again being denied the experience of pregnancy and parenthood, we've been saying our share of prayers around here. This week we had a gigantic load of expenses:
Paying Charging our FET, cars needing new tires, and the always looming medical bills. But despite my fears and anxiety that we might end up homeless by the summer due to this one week of expenses, the Lord provided. I had a client pay me in full for a job later in the year, our tax return is better than we expected, and Glory Hallelujah our meds were about 1/10 of what they were last time! So oddly enough, we were able to pay for our tires almost to the dollar, and we'll be able to make all of our other payments too! Plus, our apartment leasing office let us do a shorter lease at the SAME rate we are currently paying, plus they reduced our rent next month for renewing!
Needless to say, we feel like things are looking up around here. Not just because of money, but because we keep being reminded that the Lord hears our prayers and answers them! I know I don't always like his answer, but knowing that I am never ignored is a great thing. We have a God that listens, we have a God that doesn't walk away from us in time of need. Sometimes He has us wait, sometimes He sends us in new directions, but He never ever (EVER) abandons.
P.S. In other news, one week from tomorrow, we start our meds again! Lord prepare my heart for this. :)
